Chocolate Chip Cookie

I never maintained this plumped body if I do not know how too cook. This Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe was from Yolanda Gampp’s How To Cake It website. The first time that I made it was for our group output, I am torn between two options, whether to make the cookie chewy or crispy. I decided to make a crispy cookie because no one would resist a hard one right?

Here’s what you need to make a Chocolate Chip Cookie:

  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Stir Flour and Baking Soda

Stir the flour and baking soda together in a bowl and set aside.


Beat Butter, Sugar, and Vanilla

With a paddle attachment, beat your butter, sugars and vanilla in the bowl of your mixer for 3 minutes on medium speed.


Add Eggs

Add your eggs, one at a time, and mix until fully incorporated on low speed. Stir in the flour mixture. Once incorporated, add your chocolate chips.


Bake Cookies

Bake these cookies at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  They should be golden at the edges.  Once baked, set your cookies aside to cool on the baking tray.
